Launching her label in 1974, designer Alberta Ferretti is one of the luminaries of Italian fashion.  At the age of eighteen she opened a boutique in her small hometown, and thirty years later her world-renowned designs are seen on some of the most glamorous style icons around the world.  Alberta Ferretti has gained a following for her ultra-feminine cocktail dresses and red-carpet-worthy evening gowns in fluttery bolts of chiffon, draped georgette, charmeuse, and satin.   Two lines are available in-store - Alberta Ferretti and the more contemporary Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti. The latter shares its older sister's romantic approach to fashion but adds a young, cool twist.
